Chairman, Corporate Governance / Licensing

Mr. Jensen has served as counsel to managements and boards of Directors of businesses large and small, public and private, for over 40 years. Mr. Jensen is the founding partner of ClearWater Law & Governance Group where he provides legal services and governance support to a stable of high-tech and bio-tech companies. He has served for many years as an independent director for the Wasatch Funds Trust, a family of mutual funds (with about $10B under management) where he has been the independent chair for several years. Previously he was chairman of the Audit Committee. Recently he joined the Board of the mutual Fund Company, Northern Lights Fund Trust III. He is also independent chair of the start-up Business Development Company, Yorke Capital Management, Inc and was previously on the board of the public micro-cap company, Agricon Global Corporation.

Mr. Jensen served for almost 20 years as Vice-President and General Counsel of NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a public bio-tech company. At NPS he worked on numerous licensing and financing deals before he left NPS in 2004. He was previously General Counsel to Dictaphone Corporation and to Cericor, Inc. before it was sold to Hewlett-Packard in the 1980s. He is an outside director for non-profit companies, including: the University of Utah Research Foundation and American MedChem Corporation. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Licensing Executive Society—USA & Canada. He is an inventor on two issued patents.

Mr. Jensen received JD and MBA degrees from Columbia University, served a Fulbright grant in Mexico, and a junior year abroad in France and has done technology licensing deals in 20 countries. He was a law clerk to David T. Lewis, Chief Judge of the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
