Jill is responsible for the execution of the strategic financial functions of the company including financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, budget preparation and management. Jill joined iVeena with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Jill is currently the President of JV Strategies, LLC, where she specializes in standing up early-stage biotech organizations. Jill currently advisees multiple venture capitalist-backed portfolio companies and reports directly to the CEO, Chairman, and Board of Directors. Prior to joining iVeena, Jill spent five years as the VP of Finance at AsclepiX Therapeutics, Inc. and assisted with securing the Series A funding of $35M and a Bridge Financing of $10M. Jill joined AsclepiX from Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she served as the Manager of FP&A. Jill was involved in the expansion of the company’s finance department during the transition from a development-stage to a fully integrated commercial organization. Ms. Tierney’s professional affiliations and relationships in the eye care community are extensive and her philanthropic appointment serving as a Board Observer and Managing Director of Finance for the Holland Foundation for Sight Restoration is where she focus’ her efforts outside of work to help expand corneal transplant surgery centers of excellence across the U.S. Jill holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Finance from St. Joseph’s University – Haub School of Business in Philadelphia, PA.
